work was different... lol! after blogging, melvin called me to assist with some stuff with the back office.. lol! i should have known.. it was those osim ear thingys again... so we started and then mel dropped the bomb... he said we had to do 2400 pieces! ahahhahhahaha... and we usually did like 200 a day.. maximum 300... if we were fast.. it was scary, the thought of doing thousands! but i joined in the "fun"...
oh ya and half way through, i started laughing like mad...again! ok i dunno wats up with me but i just had to laugh out loud!! literally... lol! then we did like about 300... and wendy started having headache after someone walked into the back office.. lol! headache as in a good way... cez she hadnt seen that person the whole day... LOL! the funniest part is to see her consume the panadol! hahahahahahaha... omg! henry and i laughed so hard la... i took pics.. will add em here soon.. =)
finally, the mood became almost dead cez someone didnt wanna come to the back and cheer wendy up... which meant the rest of us had no one to laugh at! lol... but seriously, someone's only human!! LOL... i'll be continuing work at the back office for the next few days.. or should i say weeks? till 2400 is done.. haha!
so dinner's... i initially planned to bring them to pasir ris beach... but since my dad started grumbling about it being too expensive there, i made reservations for Le Meridien.. HAHAHA! my dad didnt want a restaurant on the beach, so a hotel it was! =) we entered the meridien and he started nagging.. and i kept walking till we got to the saltwater cafe... i reserved a sofa dine and then got to know that there was alfresco as well... since it was hot outside from the tandoori bbq, we decided to take our original seats... it was nice... the food, the place... the company... =)
then we started taking pics...lol! my dad started cam-whoring me.. lol! and me, being my diva self, posed... hahaha but here's the catch, there were candid ones too! oh well, will post them up tomoro or smth... there's buffet there too.. so i was thinking i should bring the boys out there for some fun.. eat and swim or swim and eat or something... the infinite pool looked devine with the gazebo backdrop! the outdoor setting was simply gorgeous la... oh and they have the best martini selection... =)
ok i just called my supervisor to tell her that i'll be going to the temple tomoro and we had the best heart-to-heart talk! like seriously, i did'nt think i'd become this close or understand where she's coming from so much... and i feel horrid that she thinks i hated her before.. hate and dislike has the same connotation but different meanings... the point is, i now know she's one who can really talk to openly.. and it was actually one of the best "working" convo's i've had! thank you rachel...
so i'm off to bed... and it was a really awesome day! tomoro's half day cez going temple in the morning.. and then its back to more osim thingys... ciao! :P
