6 October 2008! GARYY!! hahahha... damn funny fella! kk so thats the first day... the rest will be up soooon!! =)
first day in Hongkong! awesome feeling... the flight was at 10 and we reached Hongkong at about 2pm... Hongkong and Singapore time is the same!
so there was no need adapting to different time zones, however, the whether was nice!! cold... and nice!! it's autumn now! lovely...
we got onto the coach and headed towards our hotel... the L'Hotel @ Causeway Bay! fregging nice alrite... it had a modern contemporary feel! we checked in and got settled around 4... the only plans that day was dinner...at a chinese restaurant in the city... so that meant we could go hang out around the area for a lil bit... me, da fei (my roomie), kelvin and kenny went jalan the premises... and we found some pretty interesting stuff..like a MACDONALDS just down the street!! and we were mainly looking for a Sim card to call Sinagpore!
then it was time for dinner and the coach had come... so we proceeded to the place... all of us got closer as we had to see each others' faces for the next week! lol... kelvin was wearing Agnes b!! that was like the first thing i noticed... and so yeah, i basically found a shopping buddy! and he was there with me all the way till the last day can!
neways, we went for dinner and guess what i ate... GOOSE!!! *don't ask!!*
after that horrid encounter, we went to the walk of stars! where the "stars" had their handprints and signature on the ground... smth like New York's Hollywood Walk of Fame! hahahha.... and then there it was... the Skyline of Hongkong!... one word : BREATH-TAKING!! the pics are here... see for yourself.. one of the buildings..with Kelvin's fringe! lol...
the longest bridge in ASIA!!
the bridge and its background... mountaneous terrains!
accross the bridge...damn peaceful to see it!
some of the residential apartments... minumum height, 40 levels.. all the way up to fregging 120 storeys!!
lush greenery! with mountains again...
more residential high-rise apartments... fregging high!
the building at the back is still being done, and when its complete, it'll be the tallest residential building in all of Hongkong!! at 150 storeys! adding to the maginificent skyline!
